Movie of the week

Now for the movie of the week I think I'm going to choose the hobbit i saw that the day it was released now i saw the trailers and hype for the film and I prepared myself for the reality that these films are never as good as the hype makes them out to be and then went to watch it well what a waste of time there was no need to prepare because the film was as amazing as they showed it to be no deception with this film which as any serious film buff will tell you is a rare treat but this time the managed to now give all the best bits away in the trailer but i have to say as a draw back is that the new frame rate in case anyone doesn't know about this to add to the realism of the movie they filmed it at double the frame rate to that the film moves quicker to give it a more real feel I wasn't a fan of this and I think it should have been done it the normal frame rate b ut that's just me overall the film was great excellent story and the acting was fantasic with Martin Freeman as the young Bilbo it was amazing and I found it more of a family film that the original lord if the rings films which is good for anyone with kids and I can't wait for the second one

Album of the week

Okay so for album of the week as an old rock fan I've decided to go classic and am putting the AC/DC album back in black up for it now I know that a lot of people will disagree but hey your right to do so but I track with an amazing solo and just generally a bad ass tune awesome lyrics one of the best it's sales speak for themselves to prove my point it was when it was released officially the second best selling album worldwide behind Michael Jackson's thriller album but I think we can all understand that right lol it received a 22x platinum which means it sold over 22 million copies and overall it sold 50 million copies worldwide which you have to admit is pretty good right

think it's one of the greatest albums ever recorded mainly because of the song back in black itself I love the

Movie song of the week

This weeks movie song of the week I think has to be who wants to live forever by queen from the movie Highlander which is one the best film ever made in my view and I know a lot of people will disagree with me and it's their choice but I love the song and the movie probably the best film Christopher Lambert has ever done and of course it helps queen being one of my favourite bands I will try and post one of these the same time every week so check back next week if you have any suggestions for these posts please contact me and tell me about it

Assasins Creed

I have only just started playing assassins creed I haven't played the first game sadly I started with the second game which is the start of what is called the Ezio trilogy I have played the first of the three games and \i have to say it's probably one of the 10 best games I have ever played it's got a simple game play it plays very much like the old prince of Persia games but with a little more fluidity to it also the ability to kill people which I found an important difference also unlike the old prince of Persia games you can really explore the world in fact you can go pretty much anywhere in the game world and there's lots of hidden things to find the fighting in the game is also very good because if your a pro with games I find the battle system doesn't bore you it's interesting enough for an old hand to enjoy but if your a novice it's simple enough for you to use the system and just the story itself is very interesting and involving so if anyone is looking for a game to play and they haven't tried it i would suggest this game and if they measure up and i think they would also so any hard core fans of the series and if you like music they here's a you tube video you should check it out it's a woman called Lindsey Stirling assassins creed it's her playing the theme to the third game on violin and it's fantastic also she does a video of her in the assassins creed 3 outfit running around tearing down posters and stuff it's great so please enjoy

Out of 10 I'd give this

Ghostbusters 3

That's right a third one I personaly cant wait for it sadly it's still in the very early stages as it doesn't have a cast list but Dan Aykroyd insists that it will be made he has apparently almost finished the script so here's hoping although it has been confirmed that Bill Murray is not going to be returning but apparently all the others are but we'll have to see
